Lorne was born and raised in Central Saskatchewan.
Upon completion of high school, Lorne began his insurance career with Saskatchewan Government Insurance in August, 1966. In August, 1999, after 33 years with SGI, Lorne took early retirement. During his time with Saskatchewan Government Insurance, Lorne was able to work in three lines of insurance which included auto, property and bodily injury. Lorne gained considerable experience in these lines of insurance, by taking numerous courses offered by SGI which included automobile estimating, general construction estimating for property losses and various injury seminars. In addition, Lorne attended seminars for jewellery evaluation, farm machinery repairs and RV appraisals.
Upon retirement, Lorne began work for an independent firm, Plains Adjusters, in November, 1999 - 2004. He then joined TMD Insurance Adjusters in 2005 to the present time.
Lorne continues his work in the Insurance Industry and enjoys the opportunity to assist people who have insurance claims.
