Pete Degraaf

Pete’s career in the insurance industry started in 1988 as an independent adjuster for James Taylor Company. In 1999 he moved over to Leonard Hirst & Miller Adjusters as a partner in the firm. In 2001 the company was purchased by a national firm where he continued as the Branch Manager until 2004.

In 2004 opened his own branch of TMD Adjusters until 2015.  In 2015 Pete opened deGraaf Claim Services Inc  and primary continues to handle claims for anther Insurance carrier but has maintained an excellent working relationship with TMD Adjusters and he is now an associate office for their firm in the Red Deer area.

Pete has vast experience handling all types of claims including, but not limited to Property, Commercial losses as well as Fraud, liability, Injury and fatality claims.

He has also handled several Catastrophe claims in Alberta as well has hurricane claim in The US Virgin Islands in 1995 and Puerto Rico in 2017

Pete enoys spending time with his family and traveling. His interests are hockey as he played junior hockey in Cnaafa and professional hockey in Europe. He is also an assistant coach in the Alberta Junior hockey League.
