Robert was born and raised in Southern Alberta where he started working in the construction industry. Shortly after getting married he moved to Central Alberta working in the areas of construction for the oil field sector and truck driving. After several years in this part of Alberta, Robert returned to his roots in Southern Alberta continuing his pursuit of excellence in all his endeavors.
Robert’s introduction to the insurance industry began in October of 2008 when he was a project manager with a local restoration company. Having a vast array of experience in all areas of the construction industry, as well as sales, procurement, and estimating, Robert quickly excelled in this position. In October of 2013 he obtained his independent insurance adjusters license and joined TMD Adjusters as a full-time adjuster.
Carrying forward the wealth of previous experiences has been a great benefit for Robert dealing with all levels of insurance work as an adjuster. Completing numerous courses since joining TMD Adjusters, a CIP Designation was bestowed to Robert in July of 2017. Robert has experience in all forms of insurance claims including, but not limited to, residential and commercial property, liability, cargo, and auto. Robert has also participated in numerous weather-related CAT losses including total and partial losses resulting from the Fort McMurray wild fires in 2016.
Robert has always stressed the importance of team work and is always available to share his knowledge and experience with his peers. He feels one of the greatest rewards he receives from adjusting is helping people transition through the often-difficult time of an insurance claim.
